Important Info
-
Each creation + its process is unique and heavily tailored to the recipient. Prices are thus set individually and vary depending on the medium used and the complexity of the piece.
After receiving your inquiry, and provided I have enough information to go off of, I’ll send you an estimate of what I imagine the cost will be for your commission. Pricing for bespoke talisman begins at $100 regardless of medium and can go up from there.
If my initial estimate is agreeable and you’d like to schedule a follow-up call to solidify artistic details, we’ll schedule a time to talk for 30 minutes. During this Zoom call you can share more about your vision and anything that feels important to share with me. I will also talk more about the process, and we will settle on details that feel important to nail down. The call costs $50 to book and serves as a non-refundable deposit that gets deducted from the final price.
After our call, I’ll send a final price and summary of what we discussed, which you can agree to or decline.
Once you give me the green light to make the talisman, I request 50% of the remaining cost upfront before I begin the project. The other 50% is due once I’ve finished the piece, before I send it to you.
Please note: I don’t usually give “progress reports” while making a commission. This is because it’s a moving experience for clients to receive a piece in its completed form (similar to how we receive many other gifts).

A commission is usually completed within a month after I receive the green light to make it, but we’ll talk about timelines more concretely on our Zoom call.

Unless you request that I not do this, I will post a photo of your finished piece on my website (in the relevant portfolio) after you’ve received it. Your information won’t be included with the image.
